From Concept to Asset |
|
Northwind's engineering staff starts with the basic design tools, pad of paper and white board with lots of discussion. Once the basic concept is defined, then "rough" models in Autodesk Inventor are created to verify and identify key design elements and manufacturing criteria. The process continues to a complete engineered Inventor model. Final review of the design will be completed by Customer, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality. Bill of materials, manufacturing processes, quality control points are then loaded into Global Shop (ERP) and work orders issued to manufacturing.
